5th August 2009 St Jean-de-Losne

Wednesday. We've been moored under the trees at St Jean-de-Losne on the banks of the river Saone since the beginning of the month, catching up with a few jobs, talking with old friends and meeting new ones. It's still very hot and sunny, but thunderstorms are on the way for Friday. Traffic on the river is quite busy and small speedboats are a nuisance making far too much wash past moored boats (there is also a police boat which occasionally puts in an appearance which makes more wash than the speedboats - typical!)
